Job Fair December 2nd 2009

The IEEE Student Branch Gent organizes on Wednesday December 2nd a job fair. We mainly aim to present spin-off and high-tech companies. A unique chance to get in touch with well-known and less well-known companies. All these companies are looking for highly educated engineers that are able to help them developing their revolutionary technologies. On this job fair for spin-offs and high-tech companies, we offer companies the opportunity to present themselves to a large audience. Every company gets its own promo stand were they can provide information about their business and what type of candidates they are looking for. A company also has the option of giving a presentation about their business.

All these companies are looking for motivated people, so don't forget your CV!

Philippe Faes (CEO of Sigasi) will give a presentation "How to apply for a job?", to help finding your future job.

The job fair will be organized in De Therminal and starts around noon. The job fair will be ended with a great reception were people can talk a little bit more with the different representatives from industry accompanied with some beverages and food. Every attendee of the job fair will receive a company booklet that contains information about all the companies that are present.

Attendees who want to attend should subscribe for this event. By doing so in advance you get a change to win one of the beautiful prices during the job fair. For example a GPS, several ipods and film tickets.
